The deadly COVID-19 pandemic claimed 14 more lives in the last 24 hours, taking the COVID-19 death toll to 2,859 in Goa.

The state registered 473 fresh cases of COVID-19 pandemic on Tuesday with the positivity rate of 15.18 per cent.

A total of 74 new patients have been hospitalised in facilities across the state in the last 24 hours while 86 patients have been discharged during the same period.

The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 1,60,284 of which 5,899 are active cases while 1,51,526 patients have recovered from the disease.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of other urban health centres stand as follows: Margao- 504 cases, Vasco – 180 cases, Panaji- 293 cases and
Mapusa – 115 cases.

While active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 191 cases, Bicholim – 98 cases, Pernem – 227 cases, Valpoi – 143 cases, Curchorem – 210 cases and Canacona
– 122 cases.

And, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 72 cases, Betki – 180 cases, Candolim- 186 cases, Cansarvanem – 49 cases, Colvale – 111 cases, Corlim – 153 cases, Chimbel – 229 cases, Siolim – 138 cases, Porvorim- 234 cases, Mayem – 69 cases, Balli – 138 cases, Cansaulim – 227 cases, Chinchinim – 92 cases, Cortalim – 221 cases, Curtorim – 156 cases, Loutolim – 188 cases, Marcaim – 143 cases, Quepem – 171 cases, Sanguem – 159 cases, Shiroda- 157 cases, Dharbandora – 108 cases, Ponda – 513 cases and Navelim – 121 cases.
