St Joseph Vaz College released its annual magazine, ‘Josephite 2019 – 2020 VOL. III’ at the hands of chief guest, M J Joy. Dignitaries present for the occasion were administrator of St Joseph Vaz College, Fr Walter de Sa; principal, Maria Fonseca, faculty, staff and
students.

Fonseca welcomed the gathering and expressed satisfaction that the third edition of the annual magazine saw the light of the day. Fr Walter focused on the growth of the institution through the collective teamwork of the faculty and support staff. The editor, Unice Rodrigues, briefly spoke about the contents of the magazine and thanked the members of the editorial board, faculty and students for their contribution.

Joy congratulated all the students and staff who contributed towards the magazine. He said that the write-ups define the college life. Further, Joy went on to share his experience of coming across many individuals waiting outside the industries in search of a job. He urged students to be job providers rather than job seekers. He continued saying that “formal education is only a pathway but what we wish to achieve is something that comes from within.” Students need to have a set target and work towards launching it. “Only an addict can become an entrepreneur”, Joy concluded and wished bright future to the
students.
