112 new COVID-19 cases registered in Goa

Panaji: Goa on Tuesday, registered, 112 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total number of active cases to 862.

Around 115 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

With these new cases and recoveries, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 52,570 of which 50,952 patients have defeated the deadly virus. Till date, 756 patients have succumbed to the virus in the state. Fortunately, no new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 104 cases, Vasco – 43 cases, Panaji – 84 cases and Mapusa – 34 cases.

While, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 21 cases, Bicholim – 6 cases, Pernem – 5 cases, Valpoi – 13 cases, Curchorem – 15 cases and Canacona – 14 cases.

And, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 32 cases, Betki – 24 cases, Candolim – 41 cases, Cansarvanem – 2 cases, Colvale – 21 cases, Corlim – 19 cases, Chimbel – 32 cases, Siolim – 49 cases, Porvorim – 60 cases, Mayem – 12 cases,  Balli – 5 cases, Cansaulim – 27 cases, Chinchinim – 15 cases, Cortalim – 29 cases, Curtorim – 15 cases, Loutolim – 19 cases, Marcaim – 5 cases, Quepem – 16 cases, Sanguem – 23 cases, Shiroda – 9 cases, Dharbandora – 7 cases, Ponda – 40 cases and Navelim – 18 cases.
