State sees 60 new COVID-19 cases

Panaji: COVID-19 death count in state remained at 756 on Sunday as no more deaths due to the deadly virus were reported. The state registered 60 new COVID-19 cases, taking the number of active  cases to 878. Around 59 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

With these new cases and recoveries, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 52,405, of which 50,771 patients have defeated the disease.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 93 cases, Vasco – 34 cases, Panaji – 57 cases and Mapusa – 32 cases.

While, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 22 cases, Bicholim – 8 cases, Pernem – 10 cases, Valpoi – 15 cases, Curchorem – 19 cases and Canacona – 19 cases.

And, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 28 cases, Betki – 28 cases, Candolim – 31 cases, Cansarvanem – 2 cases, Colvale – 18 cases, Corlim – 22 cases, Chimbel – 26 cases, Siolim – 43 cases, Porvorim – 52 cases, Mayem – 11 cases,  Balli – 9 cases, Cansaulim – 40 cases, Chinchinim – 13 cases, Cortalim – 36 cases, Curtorim – 17 cases, Loutolim – 31 cases, Marcaim – 14 cases, Quepem – 15 cases, Sanguem – 24 cases, Shiroda – 7 cases, Dharbandora – 8 cases, Ponda – 57 cases and Navelim – 33 cases.
