92 more COVID cases detected in state

Goa on Tuesday  registered 92 new COVID-19 cases taking the total number of active cases to 797.

Around 94 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

With these new cases and recoveries, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 51,983 of which 50,437 patients have defeated the deadly virus. Till date, 749 patients have succumbed to the virus in the state; fortunately no new death was recorded on
Tuesday.

According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao – 83 cases, Vasco – 32 cases, Panaji – 52 cases and Mapusa – 28 cases.

While active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 26 cases, Bicholim – 13 cases, Pernem – 9 cases, Valpoi – 11 cases, Curchorem – 13 cases and Canacona – 21
cases.

And, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 19 cases, Betki – 22 cases, Candolim – 29 cases, Cansarvanem – 1 cases, Colvale – 14 cases, Corlim – 21 cases, Chimbel – 43 cases, Siolim – 29 cases, Porvorim – 41 cases, Mayem – 4 cases,  Balli – 5 cases, Cansaulim – 47 cases, Chinchinim – 11 cases, Cortalim – 34 cases, Curtorim – 20 cases, Loutolim – 29 cases, Marcaim – 15 cases, Quepem – 13 cases, Sanguem – 12 cases, Shiroda – 10 cases, Dharbandora – 9 cases, Ponda – 55 cases and Navelim – 24 cases.
