167 new cases of COVID-19

Goa on Tuesday registered 167 new cases of COVID-19 pandemic, taking the tally of confirmed cases above the 47,000-mark.

At the same time, 85 patients recovered from the disease on
Tuesday.

As per the DHS, of the total 47,068 confirmed COVID cases that Goa has recorded so far, 1,221 are active while 45,168 patients have defeated the disease.  As per the analysis, the current recovery rate in Goa is 95.96 per cent.

According to DHS, current active positive cases are as follows: Urban Health Centres – Margao (102), Vasco (74), Panaji (87) and Mapusa (37); Community Health Centres- Sankhali (39), Bicholim (19), Pernem (36), Valpoi (19), Curchorem (17) and Canacona (27); Primary Health Centres- Aldona (23), Betki (30), Candolim (71), Cansarvanem (8), Colvale (17), Corlim (36), Chimbel (60), Siolim (51), Porvorim (82), Mayem (14),  Balli (11), Cansaulim (42), Chinchinim (31), Cortalim (50), Curtorim (22), Loutolim (23), Marcaim (19), Quepem (19), Sanguem (7), Shiroda (25), Dharbandora (13), Ponda (82) and Navelim (28).
