Nand Kishore Bhatt, chief security officer, Vedanta- Goa, has been awarded honorary membership by the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) for outstanding performance in security services
Under the leadership of Bhatt, the company had deployed an application with AI and machine learning to strengthen the safety and hygiene measures for employees and community by effectively complying with MHA guidelines with respect to mask, social distancing and disinfection compliance.
Kunwar Vikram Singh, chairman, CAPSI said, “We all went through a testing time when private security was suddenly declared an essential service to provide security cover to corporate and communities. The fear of the infectious virus and sudden reverse migration of workforce also created a much greater challenge. It was all during this tough time that Bhatt exhibited true leadership and motivated his workforce to stay at their post under the most hostile conditions. As a token of respect and gratitude we have granted Bhatt an honorary membership for his dedicated professionalism and exemplary leadership.”
On the honour, Bhatt said, “I am deeply humbled for having been awarded with this prestigious honor and recognition for my work. I do not believe our success could have been possible without the absolute support of my team and the management at Vedanta.
This award isn’t just a reflection of my work but also that of everyone that contributed to the safety and security of all the people here.”
In 2019, the Goa Management Association had conferred the ‘Young Manager of the Year award to Bhatt for his exceptional performance
