Margao is developing with people’s support: Kamat

Around 20 four-arm streetlights were commissioned at Aquem, Power House, near ESI Hospital, Sirvodem, Colmorod, Pedda, Monte Hill, near district library and other areas on the eve of Diwali.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamat said, “The development of Margao is my prime focus and I have tried my level best to ensure that every ward in my constituency gets all basic amenities. I am thankful to the residents of Margao who have come forward to support development.”

He recalled how residents willingly volunteered to set up CCTV cameras to ensure better safety in their localities.

“The residents and shop owners in Margao have always volunteered when it comes to development of the town.
