CES College celebrates Teachers’ Day

The CES College of Arts and Commerce, Salcete organised a programme to celebrate Teachers’ Day. The programme began with the garlanding of the portrait of Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan at the hands of principal, Sanjay P Sawant Dessai. While addressing the teachers and non-teaching staff on the occasion, S Dessai said: “Every person we meet in our life has something to teach us and we must learn from such encounters in our lives. And in this sense, we all are teachers.”

With an aim to encourage the habit of reading among the teachers, Dessai presented books from the new arrival section of the library to teachers with a request to review them. The programme concluded with the inaugural of the college research centre at the hands of chairman, CES, Dilip Dessai and other dignitaries.
