Traditional cake mixing held at Novotel Goa

Novotel Goa Resorts & Spa held its annual cake mixing. Invitees along with general manager, Rohan Sable; executive sous chef, Siddharth Noronha; pastry chef, Yogesh Deshpande and other staff donned gloves and aprons, and participated in mixing the dry fruits with rum and red wine.

The mix was then transferred into huge air tight drums to be stored away until the beginning of December when it will be transformed into Christmas cake.

Speaking at the event Sable said: “The tradition of cake mixing marks the beginning of the festive season, I wish one and all a joyful festive season in Goa.”
