The E-way bill had a nation wide roll-out on April 1, while in Goa the bill was introduced on June 1 2018. With the introduction of the E-way bill system it is necessary for all consignors, consignees, transporters in the state to be aware of the required compliance.To explain the operational procedure on how to use the web based E-way bill system, the Goa Chamber of Commerce organised a half-day workshop for tax payers. The workshop discussed the entire process of registration and E-way bill generation, modification, cancellation, rejection etc., and guided the participants on various legal and practical issues. Officials of SGST and taxation experts conducted the workshop at GCCI’s Convention Hall.
