The Goa chapter of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) celebrated golden jubilee year on June 15. KS Reddy, Registrar of Companies-cum-official liquidator, Goa, was the chief guest of the program while, Shatrughan Chauhan, deputy Registrar of Companies (ROC), Goa, was the guest of honour.
Shweta Kharangate, chairperson, ICSI-Goa, welcomed the distinguished guests and other delegates. The program included a technical session by Satyaprakash Kamath, chartered accountant, who spoke on Indian accounting standards as part of recent developments taking place in the profession. The audience comprised of Company Secretaries in the state as well as students studying for the course. Garima Vasudeva, member of the Goa Chapter, coordinated the entire event. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Pratika Mhambray, secretary, ICSI-Goa.
