Jephsis Hitler was a natural singer and a comedian of high calibre. He specialised in doing kunnbi roles, as he could get the kunnbi accent very well.
Reginald Fernandes
From Siolim, Reginald was a famous Konkani novelist and was known as a ‘Romanxicho Patxai’ (King of Novels). A musician par excellence, His classic ‘Adeus Korchea Vellar’ has been sung by every Goan.
C P Dias
C P Dias took to music at a very young age. He has provided music to tiatrs of almost all the stalwarts of tiatr stage. Besides tiatr he also contributed to Bollywood film music.
AK D’Souza
Anthony was a very good writer, director, actor, composer of songs and a singer. ‘Dilolo Jurament’, ‘Hanv To Tarvotti’ are some of the popular tiatrs written by him.
Ulhas Buyao
Ulhas Buyao’s w compositions ‘Goychea Mhojea Goykaramno’ and ‘Mungllurachea Xharant’ and ‘Chan’neache Rati’ are still remembered.
Romeo Mendes
Romeo Mendes was an actor, singer and a composer. Husband of actress Antonette, he produced many audio cassettes of their songs.
Anthony Gonsalves
Anthony’s contribution to music in Mumbai film industry is remarkable. He taught many great music directors like Pyarelal and R D Burman. He composed music for Konkani songs like ‘Aayee’ and ‘Far-y-iaer’.
Chico D’Costa
Chico D’Costa was known for his melodious voice. His voice can be heard in Konkani film ‘Kortubancho Sounsar’ and also on All India Radio.
