India has taken quantum leap under PM Modi: Patra





Stating that the NDA government has succeeded to run a corruption-free government in last three years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the party’s national spokesperson Dr Sambit Patra said that India has led from incremental growth during UPA regime to quantum jump under Modi-led government.

He was speaking on three years of Modi-led Union government at a press conference on Saturday in Panaji. Union Minister of State for AYUSH (independent charge) Shripad Naik, South Goa MP Narendra Sawaikar, BJP state president Vinay Tendulkar and general secretary Sadanand Shet Tanawade were also present.

Dr Patra said that Modi government at Centre has succeeded in winning trust of the people in last three years, which is evident from the recently held assembly elections in five states.

“Modi, when took over as Prime Minister, had promised that the government would work for interest and betterment of the poor people and would give honour to the country at international level. And after three years, this government has fulfilled these promises through various social security and other schemes and upheld the name of the country in global arena,” he said.

He also said that because of the leadership of Narendra Modi today India has become bright destination for global investments, adding, the implementation of Goods and Services Tax (GST) has given a big push to Indian economy.

BJP spokesperson also maintained that there has been no corruption in the government for the last three years and it always stand against corruption.

Dr Patra spelt out achievements under various schemes launched by Modi government and said the government will fulfil the promise of providing housing to all by 2019.
