Directorate of Art and Culture in collaboration with West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur had organised photography workshop from August 1 to August 5 at Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda. The concluding function of the workshop was organised on August 5 at 5 p.m. at conference hall of the venue.
On this occasion, fine artist and state cultural awardee, Shridhar Kamat Bambolkar was the chief guest. Vice chairman of Rajiv Gandhi Kala Mandir, Ponda Ajit Kerkar and Prasad Pankar were the other dignitaries present on the dais.
The photographs clicked by the participants were exhibited at the function. Prasad Pankar while speaking at the function said that earlier there were no workshops or other educative sessions, but now sky is the limit. “We can get any knowledge at one click. We have to make use of this to prosper in the field.”
Shridhar Kamat Bambolkar encouraged the participants to pursue the art. The participants were presented with certificates by the chief guest. Mementoes were presented to all the dignitaries along with assistants to Prasad Pankar – Raj Govekar, Tanvi Verlekar, Bharati Naik.
