Tarang, a group of women entrepreneurs, recently organised an exhibition at Caculo Mall, Panaji. On the occasion, Tarang celebrated three years of motivating and strengthening women entrepreneurs in Goa. The exhibition featured a performance by Indian Idol finalist, Vaibhav Gaonkar. Tarang was founded in 2017 with an aim to provide budding women entrepreneurs with a platform to promote, sell and market their products through activities like exhibitions, pop-up fairs, flea markets, etc. It’s also an initiative for women to stay connected, learn skills, enhance their knowledge through workshops, awareness programmes, contests, and more.
To commemorate the occasion, a customised cup printed with the group photo of the organisation was presented to each member. A ceremonial cake was also cut to commemorate the occasion. Present were founders of Tarang, Sweta Chari and Mansi Govenkar among others.
The exhibition housed several products like ethnic wear for women, handmade items, gift hampers, clothing, fashion accessories, handcrafted bags, jewellery, lights and decor, artisanal chocolates, western wear, sarees, etc.
