NEW DELHI: Raj Bala, who suffered spinal injuries during the police crackdown on fasting yoga guru Baba Ramdev and his supporters last month here, continued to be in a critical condition, doctors said Saturday.
Raj Bala (51), was seriously injured during an evacuation operation at the Ramlila grounds on the night of June 4 and is currently admitted in the ICU of GB Pant Hospital. Surgery was done the next day. “Raj Bala is conscious and obeying verbal commands and is still quadriplegic. Her vital parameters are being maintained with pharmacological support,” a statement from the hospital said.
