Vijay Yatra to start today

The ‘Vijay Yatra’ of Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasunsthanam Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham Sringeri will be held from February 14 to 17.

According to president of the organising committee, Arun Desai, Shrimad Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekar Bharati Swamjii will arrive on February 14, 4 p.m. Following a welcome at Patradevi, Pednem, devotees can see the swami at Shree Dhakti Vanadevi Devasthan, Mulgaon, Bicholim at 6 p.m. This will be followed by pooja of Lord Chandramauleshwar from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Shree Shree Dhakti Vanadevi Devasthan, Mulgaon, Bicholim.”

On February 15 the abishek of swami will be at Devi Shree Yogeshwari at Kulan, Bicholim from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.  He will visit  Shree Shanatadurga Devasthan Karapaur, Sankhalim at 10.45 a.m. and will be at Shree Vetal Devasthan Mulgao Bicholim between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. there will be a grand welcome at Keri Ponda near Maruti temple. Lord Chandramauleshwar pooja will be at Kalyan Mandap, Keri at 8 p.m.

On February 16, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., the swami will be at Kalyan Madap of Shri Vijayadurga, Keri after which guru vandana will be held at 6 p.m. at Daivadnya Bhavan, Margao. At 8.30p.m., another pooja to Lord Chandramauleshwar at Kalyan Mandap, Ponda will be held.

February 17 will start with devotion at Kalyan Madap of Shri Vijaydurga at 10 a.m. after which there will be farewell at 8 p.m. at Polem.
