Two wheeler manufacturer, TVS Motor Company, announced the launch of the Sport silver alloy edition recently. The silver alloy wheels will be available across two colour schemes, namely, black and red. As the name suggests, the edition gets silver-coloured alloy wheels as opposed to the black wheels seen on the standard variant. Apart from that, the bike remains the same as before. The bike is available in two colour options- black silver and volcano red.
According to the company, the Sport brand has recently crossed a sales milestone of 20 lakh units since launch and to commemorate the milestone the silver alloy edition is launched. The edition features a long-life Dura-Life 100cc engine that churns out 5.5 KW of peak power @ 7500 rpm and 7.5 PS @ 7500 rpm of maximum torque. It is equipped with patented econometer, with an eco mode and power mode, which will continue to deliver a great riding performance and best-in-class mileage of 95 kilometers to a litre.
The silver alloy edition shares the same specifications, engine displacement and suspension as other variants of TVS Sport which are available in eight colour options. With a starting price of Rs 45,312, ex-showroom, Goa, the new edition is available across all dealerships.
The TVS Sport Silver Alloy Edition draws power from a 99.7cc air-cooled engine that produces 7.4PS of power and 7.5Nm of torque. TVS says the engine has been tuned for optimum fuel efficiency. The company claims the bike is capable of achieving a fuel efficiency figure as high as 95kmpl and with the motorcycle’s 10-litre fuel tank, you might not have to fill it up for an entire month!
