‘The Sweetreat’ outlet opens at airport

VASCO:  Airport director Bhupesh Chand Hans Negi on Monday inaugurated ‘The Sweetreat’, a variety of food and beverages outlet at the integrated terminal building of Dabolim airport. The proprietor of the outlet Hedviz Carvalho, Sharmila Carvalho, Vaughan Carvalho, Fr Antonio Cotta, former president of Goa Barge Owners Association and businessman Atul Jadhav, airport advisory committee members and the chairman of Logistics Committee of Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chandrakant Gawas, businessmen William D’Costa, Lyndon Rodrigues, Noel Carvalho were present among others. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) for the first time has allocated the food and beverage outlet to a Goan, a Vasco-based businessman Carvalho at Dabolim airport. ‘The Sweetreat’ will offer Goan authentic food to the tourists, arriving and departing from the airport at reasonable prices. The outlet will remain open at all times.  “We will be serving variety of food, besides cold and hot beverages, like snacks including rolls, burgers, patties, pastries and even biryanis,” said the proprietor of ‘The Sweetreat’, Carvalho.  NT
