MOG Sundays is an initiative to bring to the public a series of talks, films and expressions from stalwarts of various creative fields, worldwide. The event curated by artist Subodh Kerkar is hosted every Sunday from 11 a.m. onwards.
A talk by Leslie Menezes on the topic Challenges Of Air Traffic Management: Past, Present And Future will be held on June 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Museum of Goa, Pilerne Industrial Estate.
With present growth of GDP, the average Indian is increasingly able to afford air travel. He would prefer to get to his destination in the shortest time and in the safest way possible. Air Traffic Control (ATC) has an important role in each of these areas. Therefore, it is the best interest for the general public to be aware of certain aspects of Airport / Air Traffic Control Operations and thus be better equipped for travel.
With his 49 years of experience in all areas of Air Traffic Operations, Menezes shall give a brief overview of the behind the scenes activities involved in Air Traffic Management.
The speaker shall try to give a better understanding of air travel and make people more aware of the nuances of day-to-day airport operations that are necessary to get you to your destination safely and quickly.
