Students must strive hard to achieve success: Wagh


PANAJI: In today’s competitive world students must strive hard to achieve high education for development and success in their life, said St Andre MLA Vishnu Surya Wagh.

He was  speaking as the chief guest at the annual social gathering and prize distribution function of Smt Sunandabai Bandodkar High School Carambolim. Further, he appealed to the student community to work hard to achieve their goals by taking keen interest in education.

Other dignitaries present on the dais were MLA and ex-minister Pandurang Madkaikar, president of Saunstha ex-minister Advocate Chandrakant Chodankar, treasurer of Saunstha Rudresh Chodankar Manager Dr Sachin Govenkar, special invitees, ZP member Dhaku Madkaikar, acting sarpanch of Carambolim Kundan Bhomkar, headmaster Dharma Chodankar and others.

The guest of honour Pandurang Madkaikar in his speech thanked late Vinayak Chodankar and Advocate Chandrakant Chodankar for their vision in starting the school in Carambolim in 1975.

The  president advocate Chandrakant Chodankar in his speech appealed to the parents to keep a watch on their wards because parents role in the Institute is of great importance.

The headmaster Dharma Chodankar  welcomed the gathering and presented reports of the various school activities conducted during the academic year 2014-2015.
