Tech- Twister’ 18, a national level event of Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, (SRIEIT) Shiroda was held at the Institute.
CEO and Cofounder of Umang Software Technologies, Mangirish Salelkar was the chief guest for the occasion. Salelkar is also the President of Goa Technical Association (GTA) and signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Institute, thus providing a platform for the students to fill the industry gap and make them industry ready.
In his keynote address to the students, he said: “Students are not industry ready and having the right attitude to deliver what they know is of utmost important.” He also said that students should be focused and passionate about what they are doing. “Technology is ever changing, but understanding it and knowing the logic in those technologies is essential,” he added.
The event drew enthusiastic participation from the students of GEC, Farmagudi; GVMs, Ponda, Goa University, Taleigao Plateau, Goa Medical College, Bambolim and PCCE, Verna and Damodar College, Margao and Don Bosco College, Margao, etc.
