The King’s School bagged seven Gold Medals and two Bronze medals at the 43rd State Level Mini, Secondary and Higher Secondary School Athletic Meet 2019-20 held at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa.

Zaid Shaikh in the U-14 Boys category bagged a gold medal in 100 metres for completing his run in 11.9 seconds while also bagging another gold medal in 200 metres for completing his run in 24.4 seconds. Shaikh also bagged the best individual athlete in U-14 boy’s category and set a new meet record in 200 metres while he equalled the previous record in 100 meters. 

Divyam Prabhu Desai won the gold medal in Shot Put (five kilo grams) in the U-17 Boys Category. Desai threw his shot put at 12.74 meters and set a set new meet record in Shot Put. Pranav in the U-14 boy’s category bagged the bronze medal in 600 metres run. Ainsley Fernandes in the U-17 boy’s category bagged the bronze medal in 800 metres run.  Mukthi Verlecar in the U-14 Girls Category bagged the Bronze Medal Gold Medal in 4 into 100 meters Relay along with Nidhi Raikar, Hayley D’souza and Sachi Kamat. The students were coached by the school athletics coach,  Bhupendra Kshatri.
