PANAJI: Weslie Do Rosario and Selvyn Godinho stormed into the Junior Boys Singles finals of the Ramacanta Dharwatkar Memorial All Goa Open Table Tennis Tournament, organised by Panjim Table Tennis Club in association with JCI St Inez and SAG. 

In the semis matches played at indoor stadium, Campal, top seed Weslie cruised past Kewal Tahmankar, winning 11-3, 11-5, 11-7  to set up a title clash with Selvyn Godinho who scored an upset 11-4, 11-8, 4-11, 11-8 win over second seed Sidhant Parekh in the other semis. Meanwhile, Joel Andrade will meet Kewal Tahmankar in the finals of the Sub-Juniors Boys singles event. The first semis between top seed Joel and Anang Mahanto was a hard-fought battle with fortunes fluctuating every game. Anang won the first two sets 11-8, 11-9 but Joel come back strongly to win the next three games 11-9, 12-10, 11-9.  In the second semis, Kewal played a brilliant match to upset Shubham Mengane, winning with a straight sets 11-5, 11-3, 11-4 scoreline.
