MARGAO: Verna Sports Club organised a 25-day football coaching camp at Verna Panchayat ground, Verna. Football kits, sponsored by Tourism Minister, Mr Francisco Pacheco, were given to 48 trainees.

The boys were coached by Mr Luis Vas, Mr Anthony Rodrigues and Mr Olava Gama. Goa Football Association secretary Mr Savio Messias was the guest of honour while GFA member Mr Anthony Pango was a special invitee for the concluding function. Verna Sports Club president Mr Tony D’Costa, secretary Mr Agnelo Almedia, panch Mr Pieddade Moniz and Mr Caji Peres were present on the occasion.
