PANAJI: Dempo Goodwill Brand Ambassador and Goa’s ace swimmer, Talasha Prabhu once again stamped her supremacy as the “Fastest Woman Swimmer” and clinched a gold medal in 100m freestyle event with a timing of 59.95 seconds at the senior level National Federation Cup Aquatic meet being held at Talkatora, Delhi.

She beat national champion Richa Sharma of Delhi Police to second place who could clock only 1.01.08 seconds and Sneha T of Karnataka finished third. Talasha also won the gold in 50m freestyle. The event is being held to select the India aquatic team to participate in Commonwealth Games 2010 to be held in Delhi at the same venue on October 10.
