MAPUSA: Freddy Faria scored a hat-trick as Vasco SC thrashed Goa Velha SC 6-0 in the GFA Taca U-20 League match played at Duler stadium on Sunday.

Goa Velha entered the field with 10 men due to double bookings and injury problems and had to play defensively for most of the play. But Vasco had to wait till the 34th minute to open the scoring. After that Freddy Faria, Godfrey Rodrigues and Remedios Vaz scored in the last 15 minutes of the first half as Vasco led 3-0 at the break.In the second half, Vasco continued the complete dominance as they pumped in three more goals. Freddy scored two more goals for his hat-trick and Shawn Pereira added his name to the scorers list.
