PANAJI: An all Goa U-11 state chess selection tournament organised by Kreeda Prabhodhini  along with Bambolim Chess Club under the aegis of Goa Chess Association will be conducted  on June 29,30 and July 1 at Vidya Prabhodhini High School, Porvorim.

A total of 7 rounds will be played under Swiss league system separately for boys and girls to select   2 boys  and 2 girls to represent Goa  at the 26th National U-11 (Open  and Girls) Chess Championships to be held at Jharkhand from August 5 to 14.  Entries may be sent along with the entry fee of Rs 150 to Sanjay Belurkar, Avinash Malvankar, Sanjay Kavlekar, Swapnil Hoble or Madan Raj on or before June 28. Participants also require Goa Chess Association registration.  Trophies, cash prizes  and certificates will be given to top six players in each group during the prize distribution function.
