PANAJI: St Rock, Majorda entered the quarter-finals of Atlanta Georgia Trophy inter-village football tournament after defeating hosts Enfermos SC 5-3 via tie-breaker in a match played at Rosary ground, Navelim.

The normal time score was 1-1. St Rock scored first through Agnel Fernandes in the 45th minute but Enfermos equalised soon after through Jaison Pereira. In the tie-breaker, Lanson D’Costa, Preston Rodrigues, Agnel Fernandes and Frank D’Silva scored for St Rock while only Richard Costa and Jaison Pereira could score for hosts. Milton Gomes and Sanford Cardozo’s shots were saved by St Rock keeper Remy.
