MARGAO: A security review meeting between the South Goa Collector, top police brass, sports authorities in view of the upcoming 3rd one-dayer between India and Australia was held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, here on Thursday.

The meeting also featured Executive D irector of SAG, Mr V M Prabhudessai, the DIG Mr Yadav, SSP Mr Choudary, SP Mr Arvind Gawas, SP Mr Alan de Sa, Dy SP Mr Umesh Gaokar, representatives from the security wing, PI Kiran Podwal, Assistant Director of Transport, Mr Prakash Azavedo, GCA representatives  Mr Amrish Naik, Mr Balu, the fire brigade, the health department and others from police, electricity, PWD, fire brigade and health.
The meeting was called to specify the duties of various departments during the event.  
The authorities inspected areas where parking could take place like near the Osia complex, near SGPDA, KTC, and Arlem.
The South Goa Collector, Mr G P Naik, under whom the meeting was held, ordered that identified parking lots should be cleaned and levelled.
