Sarvodaya Sporting enter finals

PANAJI: A chanceless unbeaten knock of 97 by Suraj Dongre helped Sarvodaya Sporting Club beat Salgaocar SC by 7 wickets to book their place in the finals of Bandodkar League cricket tournament, organised by Panjim Gymkhana at Bandodkar grounds, Panaji.

Batting first, Salgaocar were all out for 227 in 44.5 overs with Vishal Singh top scoring with 79 runs. In reply, Sarvodaya Sporting achieved the target with 7 wickets in hand. In the second semi-final to be played on Wednesday, Dempo CC take on Al-Fatah.
