PANAJI: Rosary College, Navelim won the inter-college women’s football championships 2010-2011, defeating Carmel College 2-0 in the finals.
Genevia Martins scored in 24th minute and Ageema Rodrigues scored the second goal in the 48th minute. Dr Radhika Nayak, Principal of SS Dempo College was the chief guest for the final who awarded trophies and medals to the winners.

Fr (Dr) Simon Diniz, Principal of Rosary College was also present. Mr Milton L Fernandes, Asst. Director of Physical Education & Sports of Goa University presided over.
