PANAJI: Goa’s Tata Football Academy-based goalkeeper Ricardo Cardozo once again stood like a wall between the goal and the ball to take TFA into the finals of 50th all India Principal Harbhajan Singh memorial football tournament at Mahilapur, Punjab.

In the quarter-finals against CRPF, Ricardo rose up to the occasion to bring out a superlative save in the sudden death of the tie-breaker which was applied after the match ended in a goalless draw at the end of regulation time. In the semi-final against Boarder Security Force, Ricardo once again exhibited his fine goalkeeping skills when he came out with yet another diving save also in the sudden death of tie-breaker which sealed a finals berth for TFA.
