MAPUSA: Ponda Government High School won the 10th edition of all-Goa inter-school late Br Paulus Moritz memorial football tournament, organised by Anthonian’s Past Pupil’s Association at Duler, Mapusa, recently.

It was an under-17 football tournament open to all schools in Goa. The first semi-final was played between Holy Cross High School Siolim and SFX High School Siolim while the other semi-final was played between St Britto High School and Government High School Ponda.

The finals were played between Government High School Ponda and Holy Cross High School Siolim. Vikas Solanki of Govt High School Ponda was named the best goalkeeper while Charles Cardozo again of Ponda Government school was chosen best player. Alton D’Souza emerged the highest scorer while the best disciplined team prize was bagged by St Anthony High School, Duler.
