PANAJI: Goa Cricket Association’s interim president Mr Vinod Phadke has been appointed as the manager of the 16-member India team for the U-19 World Cup to be held in Australia from August 7-25. Mr Phadke will fly Down Under on August 2 to accompany the  India U-19 squad.
The BCCI managing committee picked Mr Phadke as manager based on his past experience.
