VASCO: Nivedam Boys of New-Vaddem entered  the second round by beating 7788 Bogmalo Boys 3-1 via tie-breaker in the inaugural match of 7-a-side football tournament, organised by Active Boys of New-Vaddem at Neogi grounds, New-Vaddem on Sunday. Nivedam Boys  led the match 1-0 at the breather.

However, 7788 Bogmalo equalised at the end of the second half and the tie-breaker was resorted to. Agnelo, Sydney and Caitani were the successful scorers for Nivedam Boys, while a single goal for 7788 Bogmalo Boys came from the boots of Cosme. Earlier, the tournament was kicked off by social worker, Mr Kishor Shet in presence of executive members of Active Boys.
