PANAJI: MRF ‘A’ Calangute won the 1st All Goa six-a-side hockey tournament organised by Caranzalem Sporting Club at Caranzalem Bhattan grounds. In the finals of the 10-team tournament, MRF ‘A’ beat MRF ‘B’ Calangute 5-3. The winners were led by Sydney Fernandes. 

Individual prizes: Highest scorer – Jonuano Cardoso (MRF ‘A’), best goalkeeper – Jesus Cardoso (MRF ‘B’), best player of tournament – Anthony Po (Caranzalem Sporting), promising player of tournament – Pandurang (Guirim Boys).
