MAPUSA: Milagres Sports Club, Mapusa registered a 1-0 win over Nerul Sports Club to enter the semis of the Sai Avatar Super Soccer, organised by Sai Avatar Sports Club, Anjuna at Anjuna Gymkhana grounds Tembi Saturday. The all important goal came from Avito Fernandes’ smart header from inside the 6-yard box which crashed past a hapless Nerul keeper. On crossing over, Nerul exerted tremendous pressure in search of the equaliser but failed to score.
