PANAJI: Iqbal XI beat MCC by 5 wickets to move into the finals of South Zone ‘A’ Division cricket tournament, organised by Goa Cricket Association at Dr Rajendra Prasad Stadium , Margao on Saturday.

Batting first, MCC’s were bowled out for 157 after pace bowlers Sagar Gosavi and Yayyaz Zahi wrecked havoc. Iqbal achieved the target in 29.3 overs with a brilliant unbeaten half century by Gurunath Shetye and a strokeful 42 by Tushar Sawant.
