PANAJI: Goa made it to the quarter-finals of 66th National School Games for U-19 being held in Jammu, when they accounted for J&K 2-1.The Goan lads proved to be the dominant side in the encounter as Alber Gonsalves opened the account in the 10th minute off a corner kick taken by Vishnu Singh. In the 28th minute, Jagbir Singh equalised for J&K off a powerful 40-yard strike. However, 12 minutes later, Goa scored the winner off Rakesh Kumar’s aerial lob over the advancing goalkeeper after Clayton Dias had set up the move with a long clearance.
