PANAJI: The Goa Football Association (GFA) will be conducting the first physical fitness test for those referees who could not attend the last test. The same will be held on August 1 at the SAG Campal track. Referees should report at 6.30 am. This would be the last chance for the referees to be included in the active list for the year 2010-11.

Nitish joint-first at World School Chess
PANAJI:  Nitish Belurkar is in joint-first position at the World School Chess Championships being held in Turkey.  Belurkar beat Movindu of Sri Lanka in the 5th round and is now on 4.5 points out of 5 rounds in U-9 open category. Riya Savant is on 3 points after 5 rounds. She lost to WCM Karenza Dilla in U-11 girls category.
