PANAJI: Curtorim Gymkhana will cross swords with Betalbatim SC in the inaugural match of 25th Fraxier Trophy inter-village soccer tournament organised by Young Strikers Benaulim at Dando grounds. 16 teams are participating in the tournament, which include Sai Avtar Anjuna, Varca SC, Ambelim SC, SC Davorlim, DBO Fatorda, Raitura SC, Sarzora SC, St Anthony Colva, Navellim Sporting, Carmona SC, St Anthony Assolda, Verna SC, St Rock’s, YC Majorda and hosts Young Strikers Benaulim. The winners and runners-up will be awarded Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. The finals are slated for August 8.
