MAPUSA: Football Club of Siolim made a bright start to their  Calangute Panchayat Cup campaign after they drubbed PVC Parra 3-0 at Poriat grounds, on Saturday.

The winners led 1-0 at the break. In the 5th minute,  Flavio Rodrigues found the back of the rival net to put the Siolim outfit ahead.Parra were expected to put up a better show after the change of ends, however a fine team move saw Flavio register his brace in the 40th minute.And, five minutes later, Samir Dabolkar pulled down the curtains on Parra’s horrific evening, with a neat finish.
