CUTTACK: East Bengal registered their second win on the trot and defeated HAL, Bangalore 2-1 to stay in the contention for a place in the semi-finals garnering six points.

HAL after stunning Pune FC in the first match took a surprise lead in the 8th minute through their man-in-form, Abdulla Hamza. Six minutes later former JCT midfielder Penn Orji restored parity for the Red & Gold, while last match hero Tolgay Ozbey netted the winner in the 34th minute as defending champions rallied home to an impressive victory.
