MAPUSA: Sporting Club Davorlim were simply too good for their opponents St Sebastian SC Fatorda, as they thrashed them 3-0 to book their place in the finals of 24th  Late Jaidev Gopal Kanekar memorial soccer, organized by Eagles Sports Club, at Sanquelim grounds here on Friday.

Davorlim opened their account in the 11th minute of the first session, through a timely right footer from Andrew Colaco.
Joe Gomes further consolidated the lead as he tapped the ball off Bonny’s cross. Davorlim’s hunger for goals did not end, as Anson Furtado got past a host of Fatorda’s defenders to net the third goal, 3-0.
Fatorda did have a couple of chances to score but it was Davorlim keeper Joe Fernandes who came to his team’s rescue.
