PANAJI: As a part of its ongoing Golden Jubilee celebrations, Parvatibai Chowgule College, Gogol Margao will organise an inter-college football tournament (men) ‘Chowgule College Golden Jubilee Cup’, on August 13 and a cycle rally ‘Chowgule College Golden Jubilee Cycle Rally’ on August 25.

The College has invited 15 colleges across the state to participate in the football tournament which starts on August 13 with Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim taking on host Chowgule College Margao at the college campus. The final match will be played on August 27.

On August 25, cycle rally ‘Chowgule College Golden Jubilee Cycle Rally’, which is aimed at covering a distance of 35 kilometers, will start off from Chowgule House Vasco and culminate at the college campus in Margao.

The rally will be followed by a talk by nine time world Billiards Champion Geet Sethi which will mark the high point of the Founders Day celebrations.
