MAPUSA: Hosts Adarsh Yuvak Sangh Saligao managed to register a 1-0 win over Peddem Bomm Sports Club Anjuna to enter the quarter-finals of MahaBank Platinium Jubilee Soccer, sponsored by Bank of Maharashtra, played at Calangute Association grounds, on Monday.

The all-important goal for the winners came in the last ten minutes of the match through a fine solo effort from Merwin Britto after Nakul had set him up. Two more chances went abegging for Adarsh as Sandesh Chopdekar and Vinayak failed  to finish.
