MARGAO: An exhibition football match will be played between North Goa veterans and South Goa veterans at Rosary grounds, Navelim on June 23 at 4.30 pm.

All the veteran players who have crossed 50 years and are registered with Goa Veterans Football Club have been asked to contact either Brahmanand Sancoalcar  or Lawrence Gomes.  North Goa veterans will be led by Brahmanand and South Goa veterans by Armando Colaco.  Former internationals and nationals players of the likes of Camilo Gonsalves, Bento Andrew,Derrick Pereira, Mauricio Afonso, Chandrakant Naik, Lawrence Gomes, Peter Vales,Irineo Gonsalves, Marcus Pacheco, Norbert Gonsalves,  Salu Fernandes, Baptist Fernandes, David D’Souza, Anthony D’Souza, Sanjeev Nagvenkar, Lector Mascarenhas, Leopold Fernandes, Mariano Dias, Valente Fernandes, Ignatius Dias, Johnny Pereira, Jose Fernandes, Mahesh Lotlikar, Agostinho Dias, Gaja Kerkar, Gokuldas Nagvenkar, Raymond Carvalho will be seen in action.Mr Avertano Furtado, Minister for Agriculture & Fisheries will be the chief guest and Mr Benjamin Silva, Chairman  of Khadi Industries  and Velim MLA will be the guest of honour.
