VASCO: Chicalim Youth Club will organise their traditional Coconut Breaking Contest and 3-a-side tie-breaker football tournament at Chicalim on August 24. Cash prize of Rs 4,444 will be given to the winner and Rs 3,333 for the runner-up team in the traditional Coconut Breaking contest.

The contest will be held below the Chicalim Church from 3 pm onwards. While cash prize of Rs 3,333 will be given to the winner and Rs 2,222 for the runners-up in the 3-a-side tie-breaker football tournament. Limited entries will be accepted. The football tournament will be held near the Post Office at Naquelim, Chicalim from 10 am onwards. Limited entries will be accepted for the contest and the tournament.
